LOOK: Two-Day Campus Journalism Workshop Winners

Phitsanulok, THAILAND  - A total of thirty three (33) students from Grade 9 to 12 participated in a two-day campus journalism training and workshop, June 10-11 2017, at the ASEAN Room of Naresuan Building in Phitsanulok Pittayakom School. For two days, the EP students underwent intensive training with lectures on the following: Editorial Writing with Mr. Nicfranz De Los Reyes, Feature Writing with Mr. John Patrick Benliro, News Writing with Mr. Lorenzo M. Young aspiring writers undergo Campus Journalism workshops in Phitsanulok

Phitsanulok, THAILAND - Aspiring campus journalists of Phitsanulok Pittayakom School - English Program underwent a two-day training and workshop on Campus Journalism over the weekend, June 10-11, 2017, held at the ASEAN Room of Naresuan Building.  A total of thirty three (33) students from Grade 9 to 12, most of whom had no background about campus journalism, participated in the workshop which was officially opened by Dr. Manop Ketmek, School Director of Phitsanulok Pittayakom School, in the morning of June 10. "This is a rare opportunity for you to hone your writing skills," the school director said. "May you take this chance to improve yourself for your future," he added. Phitsanulok Pittayakom School mourns the loss of an exchange student who died of drowning in the US

PHITSANULOK, Thailand – In July last year, Sirawich “Jo” Chantaburanan, 18, a Matayom 5 student of Phitsanulok Pittayakom School English Program excitedly left for the United Sates of America for the Rotary Club exchange program. In few weeks time, he together with the other 7 Thai students who took part in the program was due to return home. HERO. Sirawich “Jo” Chantaburanan (center) drowned at a beach in North Carolina USA while trying to save a friend in distress.  But a tragic accident on Tuesday, June 6, will send Jo home much earlier than expected to a heartbroken family, teachers, friends, and classmates. He drowned while trying to save his friend at a beach in North Carolina.
