The Philippines formally assumed the Chairmanship of ASEAN 2017 at the onset of this year, and it looks forward to pursue and enhance cooperation with its nine ASEAN neighbors. The theme “ Partnering for Change Engaging the World ” reflects the Philippine government’s advocacy to promote unity with and among ASEAN member states and its global partners. Being the forerunner of the activities related to ASEAN this year, Philippines invites everyone to become dynamic and vibrant allies towards a future that is prosperous for all citizens.
